Snowflake Lake is an ice skating rink set up right in front of the historic Carousel Columbia.
Winterfest opened a new ride this year, a ride through a light up tale of the 12 Days of Christmas.
This year Great America rang in 2019 with two live bands, a DJ, a fireworks show, and confetti cannons!

Operations Supervisor for Tech: Great America's Halloween Haunt
Our Jack the Ripper themed "scare-zone"
Our Backwoods Maze follows the premise of a band of werewolves who've attacked and destroyed a southern resort and spa.
The room of a conspiracy theorist who, unfortunately for him, was right about the werewolves all along.
This is the post show look for our Nytewalkers show put on by All Wheel Sports BMX, trampoline, and aerialist performers.
The Street Drum Corps put on their "Blood Drums" Show each night of Haunt. Thrilling guests with sparks from angle grinders and plenty of metal music, literally.
Chaos House was a maze designed to confuse and confound. Complete with strobe, laser fog rooms and Mirror halls.
This wall was designed to tilt back and forth on a continuous loop to give guests the feeling of falling while still standing upright,
Each night of Haunt began with an Opening Ceremony. This year it featured the Tooth Fairy, the new monster superstar of the "Tooth Fairy" maze.

Event Coordinator for California's Great America's
"Taste of Orleans" Festival
Each day of the festival found multiple bands performing on our Royale Main Stage each day. The last band of the day would finish their last set only minutes before a full fireworks display was set off overhead.
We had stilt walkers interacting with guests and tossing out beads just like a real Mardi Gras Festival! We also featured several chalk artists each day to create individual and unique pieces.
This smaller stage also held multiple bands a day for each day of the festival. Although it was smaller it packed just as much music onto the stage as our Royale Main Stage.

Backyard Bands and Barbeque was a spring event put on to start off California's Great America's 2018 season with good food and locally sourced music. A two weekend long event with three 90 minute sets, each from a different band. Plus games and food right next to the construction of the newest CGA coaster Rail Blazer.
Install and Event Coordinator for Flight Deck's 25th Anniversary at California's Great America(March 2018)
For Flight Deck's 25th Anniversary we brought fog back to the ride, which hadn't been involved in the rides operation for several years. This involved installing the set up for the fog machines as well as the operating switch that allowed the ride operator to trigger the fog in time with the ride. For the event we also showed Top Gun in one of our theaters and rigged a full sized movie screen.
